Department Of Ayurveda Samhita and Siddhanta
Department Of Ayurveda Samhita and Siddhanta is one of the Department Among 14 Departments of this college. The Pg Department was Established in 2008 with the strength of 07 PG Scholars Every Year (06 From Local including State of Telangana And Andhra Pradesh, 01 from All India Quota).

The Total Cadre Strength of Department: PG Professor – 01, Professor – 02, Associate Professor – 01, Assistant Professor - 01, Assistant Professor (Sanskrit) – 01.

Departmental Activities

'Sanskrit Saptah - 2021' Organised by Department of Samhitha and Siddhanta, Dr. BRKR Govt. Ayurvedic College, From 19th August 2021 to 25th August 2021.
Charaka Jayanthi Utsav was conducted in 2021 at Dr. B.R.K.R. Govt Ayurvedic Medical College.
Every Day PG Scholars do Samhita Patanam and they discuss the concepts in Ayurvedic Samhitas with Commentaries
Department has conducted Medical Camps in Rural Areas Every Year.
Every Month the Department visits N.I.I.M.H(National Institute of Indian Medical Heritage) for literary Research Works and Manuscripts.
Department Organised Orientation Programme For 1^st Year Undergraduates for Academic Year 2022-23 as per NCISM Guidelines
Department Conducted Hands on Activates of Dincharya & Rutucharya for Undergraduates.
Department Participated in various programmes which are conducted by State & Central Govt.

Dissertation: - The Total 36 Dissertation Works were Completed by the PG Scholars which includes Clinical Analytical & Literary work of various Samhitas. Equipments: - The Department is well Equiped with Basic Infrastructure for various needs & having 10 Charts. Clinical Work: -

The Department is having Opd in G.A.H. Erragada, Hyderabad.

Library: - The Department Library was maintained with 262 Books (Includes Modern & Ayurvedic Books) Research Articles. 55 Dissertation Books. PG Scholars: -

The PG Scholars Published their Research works in National & International journals Every Year.
The PG Scholars Participated & Presented various Scientific Papers in National & International Conferences.
For the purpose of the Dissertation Work PG Scholars visited various Institutes for collecting the information about Manuscript.
